8 Days Uganda Safari : This 8 Days Uganda Safari is a fully guided Primates and wildlife safari into western Uganda’s parks including Kibale forest, the primate capital of the world and Bigodi wetland sanctuary, Queen Elizabeth national park and the UNESCO natural world heritage site of Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. This trip starts in Kampala to western Uganda and you will have a chance to cross the equator that divides the earth into the northern and southern hemispheres.
Detailed Itinerary for 8 Days Uganda Safari
Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe and transfer to Kampala
Welcome to Uganda the pearl of Africa. You’re Driver/guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe where you can rest and get energy to begin your trip around Uganda. If you arrive early we recommend you to take a short tour of the Entebbe Town center visiting the different monuments and beaches. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 2: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale forest national park
Your guide/drive will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala and transfer you to Kibale forest national park home to highest population of 13 species of primates including chimpanzees. The 5 hours’ drive journey includes stops en route for photography and lunch in Fort Portal town. Later check in your lodge in the rainforest. Dinner and overnight at

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi wetland nature walk
After breakfast is served, you meet the guides for chimp tracking at the visitor center. A guided trek through the rainforest gives an encounter with chimpanzee for1 hour. You return back to the lodge shortly after lunch, go for a nature walk in the Bigodi wetland sanctuary. It a beautiful place to see lots of birds, primates, trees and medicinal plants with the help of your guide. Return for dinner and overnight

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
You will leave kibale early morning after breakfast on a 2 hour transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Arrive at your lodge check in and after lunch visit the twin Lakes for scenic views and picture moments. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: Full day in Queen Elizabeth National Park (Morning Game drive and afternoon boat cruise)
Today you will go for an early morning game drive where you will be able spot different animals including elephants, buffaloes and lions among others. You will return for lunch and thereafter in the afternoon head out for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel which will be wrapped up with a memorable sundowner experience in the middle of the park.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park
After breakfast you will be transferred to Bwindi forest National park arriving in time for check in at Ichumba Lodge. Renowned as home to half of world’s mountains gorillas, Bwindi is famous gorilla tracking destination. Derived from the Rukiga word, “Bwindi” means a dark place; Bwindi rainforest has remained untouched since the last ice age 250, 000 million years ago.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and evening village walk
You will get up so early in the morning for breakfast and thereafter your driver will drive you to the Park head offices with your packed lunch. On reaching there by 7:30am you will be briefed about what to do and not to do while trekking after which you will be led by the ranger guides through the mist jungle. When you see them, it will be a great and fun time as you watch them and only 1 hour is permitted to watch them. Also ensure you carry enough water with you, hats, sun glasses, rain coats, and non-flash cameras. Later return to the lodge and in the afternoon, you may go for a village walk in the communities especially the batwa communities. Visit the women’s craft center and return for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Depart to Entebbe /Kampala
With sweet memories of your tour ending today after breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe/ Kampala arriving late in the evening to catch your outbound flight back home. You may request an additional accommodation to freshen up or for an overnight. End of safari
