3 Days Uganda Safari Queen Elizabeth National Park : Queen Elizabeth National Park is the most popular park in Uganda, proven by the number of travelers visiting each year. It was named after the queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II, after her visit to the park in 1952. The park has the most diverse habitats making it a home to numerous bird species life, animal, insect, reptiles and amphibians and mammals.

It is famous for its tree-climbing lions in Ishasha, crater lakes, forested gorges, Savannah plains, swamps, rivers, and the beautiful Kazinga channel – home to an abundance of wildlife. The park has the highest number of bird species in Uganda and any protected area in East Africa. There is Chimpanzee tracking in the ‘underground’ forest in Kyambura gorge and the nearby Kalinzu forest.

 Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today we leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park – the medley of wonders located in south western Uganda. The trip to Queen Elizabeth will give you opportunities to see remarkable landscapes and scenery in Uganda’s countryside. You will pass agricultural fields of different people working or seated by the stalls of crafts or fresh fruits and vegetable markets. Most homes are by the roadside for easy access to transport but also because they have access to amenities like power and water.

You will have a stopover at the Equator monument experiencing life in both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres and later Lunch at Igongo cultural museum – the home of Ankore culture.

Day 2: Game drive and boat safari along Kazinga Channel

Today is the beginning of our adventure in Queen Elizabeth national park. This park offers the ultimate safari experience- with a highest biodiversity of any protected area in East Africa. Your driver/guide will pick you from the lodge and you start the early morning game drive exploring the park in the Kasenyi plains searching for predators and grazers on a game drive in safari cars.

Later return to the lodge for lunch after which you will take a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This offers an excellent opportunity for photography moments of Hippos, Buffaloes, Elephants and magnificent bird species by the water.

 Day 3: Travel back to Kampala

Your wildlife safari has come to an end but the memories will live with you forever. Leave for Kampala, have lunch en route to Kampala and proceed to your drop off point.
