The park hosts a wide range of wildlife such as Zebra, eland, buffalo, Oribi, deffasa water back, leopard, hyena, hippo, and reed back among others as well as various bird species. This trip starts and ends in Kampala /Entebbe.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park – evening game drive
Depending on your location in Kampala/Entebbe, meet our professional safari driver guide and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park at 8 am. Drive to Lake Mburo National Park with a stopover in Kayabwe for an equator experience and later proceed the journey via Masaka. You will have another opportunity to stop at Mpambire Drum Village to watch how the local drums are made. On arrival at the lodge, check and have lunch, and relax a bit.
Later, go for an evening game drive where you will be able to watch the park’s treasures including zebras, eland, topi, giraffes, buffaloes, otter, and waterbucks as well as different unique bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Mihingo Lodge –Luxury, Arcadia cottages – Mid-range.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Wake up, and have a morning aroma of coffee/tea served with delicious snacks. Thereafter, meet up with the driver guide for your morning game drive in the park. During your game drive, you will be able to see a high number of animals such as zebras, buffaloes, elands, topi, waterbucks, impala, and nocturnal animals going back to their hide-outs bird species among others. After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge and have an early lunch as you get prepared for a boat cruise along Lake Mburo.
After lunch, check out of the lodge and drive to Lake Mburo for an afternoon boat cruise which starts at 2 pm. During your boat cruise on Lake Mburo, you will be able to cruise near various water species such as crocodiles, hippos and you will also be able to sightsee other wild animal species- antelopes along the water banks including otters, antelopes, water bucks, eland, topi, Zebras as well as water birds like a blue-headed weaver, herons, pelicans, fish eagles, kingfishers, per-historic shoe bill stork and many more. After you will drive out of the park and head back to Kampala. Arrive late evening and be dropped to your advisable place or at Entebbe International Airport to catch up your flight.
