Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
You will be picked up by a safari driver guide from your agreed location, brief you about the 2 days Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking Safari. Then, set off to the western region of Uganda to Kibale National Park. You will drive via Mityana and a beautiful fort Portal where you will have your lunch. After lunch proceed to the park. Arrive at the park in the evening check-in, rest, have dinner and overnight stay at Chimpundu Lodge – Luxury, Kyambura Lodge –Mid-range
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking –Kibale Forest
You will wake up early and get prepared for chimpanzee tracking, as you enjoy a delicious breakfast. You will be driven to the park headquarters for a short briefing about the chimpanzee trekking rules to follow while you’re with them. After briefing, you will be led by the ranger in the forest trails in search of the habituated chimpanzees’ families. Other primates to see include Lhoest monkeys, Red colobus, blue monkeys, Vervet monkeys, and many more
You will also be able to spot wild animals like sitatunga, golden cats, bush pigs, Mongoose, and duikers among others.

On finding them, you will be allowed one hour of observing them as you get to learn about their amazing lifestyle, behave, feed, play, and build their nest as well as enjoy photo shoots. They groom themselves and take photos. This activity can last between 2 to 5 hours depending on their location in the jungle. After, a great encounter with chimpanzees –return back to Kampala. Upon arrival to Kampala be dropped at your hotel or at any inconvenient place.
