DETAILED ITINERARY OF 6 DAYS KENYA TANZANIA COMBINED SAFARI – MAASAI MARA, SERENGETI AND NGORONGORO
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara and have an afternoon game drive
Upon landing in Kenya’s Nairobi City at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and after a short briefing about what to expect on the safari. You will embark on a journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve, it is a drive of approximately 4-5 hours.
Arrive in time for lunch which you will enjoy after checking in at your lodge. In the afternoon you will have your first game drive searching for many animals including lions, leopards, elephants, African wild dogs, spotted hyenas, wildebeests among others.
In the evening, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full day game drive in Masai Mara
Day 3: Transfer from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park
After early breakfast, you will depart for a long journey to Serengeti National Park with a lunch box, at the Isebania Border you will clear with the authorities about the immigration formalities, change the vehicles and drive to Serengeti national park.
Upon arrival in the park, you will have en-route game drive as you head to the lodge for check-in, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, you will head to the endless plains of Serengeti national park for a full day game drive with packed lunch box for picnic lunch which you will have at one of the picnic sites in the park.
Serengeti national park is one of the best national parks in Africa offering the most rewarding game viewing experiences, the park is home to all The Big Five including over 3000 lions, about 1000 African leopards, black rhinos, elephants, African buffaloes, wildebeests, gazelles and over 500 species of birds which you will spot during the game drives.
In the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater – afternoon game drive and en-route tour to Olduvai Gorge
After breakfast at your lodge, you will descend to the crater floor with your lunch box for a full day game drive via The Ol Duvai Gorge Museum, then proceed to the crater for a tour.
Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact inactive Volcano caldera, the crater is also home to variety of wildlife making it a paradise for sightseeing and game viewing experience. The crater is home to over 25,000 large animals thriving in the crater including black rhinos, African buffaloes, hippos, blue wildebeests, Grant’s zebras, large prides of lions, Thomson gazelles, wildebeests among others.
During the game drive, you will explore several regions of the crater, enjoy picnic lunch at one of the picnic sites in the crater. Continue exploring the crater until evening, ascend to your lodge on the crater rim, have dinner and stay overnight.
