5 Days Victoria Falls and Chobe Safari experience in Africa

Tour Overview

5 days Victoria falls and Chobe safari safari experience in Africa is a Southern safari experience that takes you to the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls to marvel at what is arguably the largest sheet of falling water in the world. You will have a walking tour of this World Heritage Site with additional optional adrenaline activities for which the area has become famous.  From Victoria Falls you will transfer to Chobe National Park in Botswana where you will have a sun set cruise along the Chobe River where you will be able to see huge elephants, hippos, buffalos and crocodiles. Alternatively you may go on game viewing safari drive in the park in search of lions, cheetahs or the beautiful endangered sable antelope with its curved horns.

5 Days Victoria Falls and Chobe Safari detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your lodge/Sundowner Cruise

On arrival at Livingstone International Airport you will meet and greet with our representative who will transfer you 10 Kilometers to your lodge at the famous Victoria Falls  and the Zambezi River. After settling in your lodge for tonight, you will go for a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River where you will spot hippos, crocodiles and elephants. Retire late in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Victoria Falls

Today you will wake up to a heavy breakfast and thereafter visit the famous Victoria Falls. The majestic waterfall is impressive in full flood from February to May and even when the water level is low during October and November. After  the Victoria Falls walking tour, you may take part in other optional activities like bungee jumping, white water rafting, kayaking or a helicopter flight  over the falls to get a different perspective. Later retire for dinner and Overnight at your Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Chobe

After breakfast you will be transferred to the Zambia/Botswana border by road and from here you will cross from Zambia to Botswana on a private ferry arriving in time for lunch in the heart of Chobe National Park. In the afternoon you will have a sunset river cruise along the Chobe River where you will get up close with elephants and other game while watching one of Africa’s boldly beautiful sunsets. Retire for Dinner and Overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Chobe National Park

Today you will have a full day game drive in the park in search for the famous Chobe elephant, buffalos, predators and antelope such as sable and roan. Overnight dinner at your lodge.

Day 5: End of Safari

After breakfast you will say good bye to Chobe and you will be transferred to Kasane Airport to connect with your flight home. (Kindly note that you need a multiple-entry visa into Zambia if you want to fly home from Livingstone)
