Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kibale national park

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet and greet with your driver guide who will transfer you to Kibale National Park the home of Chimpanzees. You will have lunch in fort portal then proceed to the lodge for check in, dinner and overnight

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking experience and Bigodi Swamp Walk

Today after breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about the rules and regulations of tracking chimpanzees and then proceed in the jungle to start the search for the chimps guided by the Uganda wildlife Authority Rangers. Kibale national park is not only gifted with chimpanzee but also the birding moment. After tracking, you will go lunch and then return to Bigodi for a swamp walk. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi national Park
After an early breakfast, transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park the home of gorillas. The journey to Bwindi offers an amazing views and opportunities for photography in the country side. You will have lunch on the way and arrive at your lodge in time for check in, relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Timing: Approximately 7 hrs

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking and Pigmies Community Experience

After a very early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing on gorilla trekking rules. You are informed to wear hiking shoes, gloves and have a bottle of water before setting off into the forest. There you will enjoy seeing and taking photos of gorillas feeding after which you return on time for lunch at your lodge.

After lunch, you will visit the Pigmies/Batwa Community to learn about their way of living and thereafter return to the lodge for a Massage treat, dinner and overnight

Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport or Kigali International Airport
Depending on your flight schedule, today after breakfast you will transfer to either Entebbe International Airport or Kigali International Airport for your outbound flight.

We recommend flying out of Africa via Kigali International Airport because it’s near to the gorillas which gives you enough time to transfer without panicking. (Kigali International Airport is 4 Hrs drive away from the Gorillas. Note when you take this option, you will need to pay extra fees at the border for a transit visa depending on your nationality.

On the other hand, if you flight time is late in the evening or at night, you may depart from Entebbe International Airport since you have a whole day to drive from the gorillas to the Airport hence no panicking (Entebbe International Airport is 10 Hrs drive from the Gorillas)
