3 Days Uganda Gorilla trekking safari tour itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On arrival at Kigali International Airport or from your hotel, you will be picked by your drive/guide that will transfer you to your hotel in Bwindi impenetrable national park or Mgahinga gorilla national park both in Uganda. The journey from Kigali will take you through the winding hills of Rwanda and South western Uganda arriving in time for lunch and relaxation.

Day 2: Uganda Gorilla trekking Experience

After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters or briefing point where you will receive a briefing on how to conduct yourself while in the forest and once you find the gorillas. After the briefing you will be divided into different groups according to the gorilla family you will be tracking and will enter the forest in search of shy creatures. On finding the gorillas you will be allowed to spend between 40 minutes to 1 hour with them and you will retire to the lodge for check out and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning Boat Cruise and transfer to Kigali

Having had an exciting experience with gorillas in the wild the previous day, you will have a breathtaking morning boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi and thereafter return to the lodge ready to start journey back to Kigali where you will be transferred to the Airport or destination of your choice in Kigali. Depending on the Schedule of your flight back home, you may have an optional Kigali City Tour
