13 Days Uganda Tanzania safari detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your hotel

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, you will meet and greet with our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala City to relax and unwind after a long journey. Your driver/guide will brief you about your upcoming safari activities and thereafter you will go for dinner and overnight.

 Days 2-3: Kibale forest National Park/Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred by road to Kibale forest national park the home of Chimpanzees in Uganda arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. You will have enough time to settle in and enjoy the views of the jungle before enjoying your dinner and overnight. The next day you will head out in the forest for Chimpanzee trekking and on finding them you will spend between 40 Mins to 1 hour with them and then retire to the lodge for lunch and checkout as you transfer to Bwindi National Park the home of Gorillas.

 Days 4: Bwindi Impenetrable National park/Lake Bunyonyi

Today after breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking and then head into the forest in search of the mountain gorillas and on finding them you will spend between 40 mins to 1 hour with them and then retire to the lodge for lunch and checkout as you transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation.

Day 5: Morning Boat cruise and transfer to Kigali

Early morning after breakfast, you will go a soothing boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi which will takes you to the pygmy islands and Zebra islands. After the boat cruise you will check out of the lodge and transfer to Kigali City for overnight. You may go for an evening Kigali City tour.

Days 6: Transfer to Arusha

Today after breakfast, you will transfer to Kigali International Airport to catch your flight to Arusha City and Later to Arusha Airport for a transfer to Serengeti National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch and relaxation then later for an evening game drive.

Days 7-9: Serengeti national Park

You will have two full days to explore Tanzania’s flagship reserve the Serengeti and you will lookout for predators such as lions, leopards and Cheetahs, elephants and buffalo as well as antelope, blue wildebeests and zebra.

Days 10-12: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast in the Serengeti savannah, you will transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon community visit where you will enjoy captivating insights into the lives of the Masai people and later retire for dinner and overnight. The next day will be a day to witness the wildlife adventure in the crater with a full-day safari drive.  There is an excellent chance of seeing lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo before you retire for dinner and overnight.

Finally on your final day in the Ngorongoro, you will wake up at leisure for breakfast and thereafter transfer to Tarangire National Park arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Later have your dinner and overnight in the wild Tarangire.

Day 13: End of a memorable primates and wildlife safari.

A breakfast you will have a morning transfer to Arusha where you will arrive in time for lunch and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight or to your booked hotel for overnight.
