Detailed Itinerary of 9 Days Tanzania Migration Safari
Day 1: Pick up, Tarangire National Park Game Drive, Night Game Drive
Your Tanzania safari guide shall pick you up from the airport upon arrival or hotel of stay in Arusha, welcome you to Tanzania and brief you about the safari. You will be driven to Tarangire National Park that is found in the northern part of Tanzania. Tarangire National Park is known for having large herds of elephants as well as ancient baobab trees.
With your packed lunch to be enjoyed over a picnic in Tarangire National Park, embark on a game drive in the park. While on your game drive in Tarangire National Park, you will see wildlife species such as gazelles, impalas, zebras, waterbucks among others as well as the various bird species which this national park is known for.
Enjoy a relaxed late afternoon at the camp, enjoy dinner and thereafter head out for a night game drive in Tarangire National Park, an activity that allows you a chance watch the wilderness in the dark, listening to animal sounds. Day 2: Morning Walking Safari in Tarangire, Transfer to Ndutu Area

Day 3&4: Ndutu Wildebeest Calving Experience
You shall enjoy breakfast at the camp and get to explore the wildebeest covered southern plains of Serengeti National Park in the Ndutu Area. Watch the wildebeest migration and chance to witness the calves being born, as well as predators lurking around! Lunch shall be enjoyed in the wilderness. Day 5: Game Drive towards Central Serengeti National Park
After having breakfast at your accommodation in Ndutu, you will transfer to Serengeti National Park for more experiences with wildlife. You will explore the central part of Serengeti national park which is also referred to as the Seronera area, famous for hosting prides of lions as well as various wild cats, and a variety of wildlife throughout the year.
During your evening game drive in Serengeti National Park, you will search for wildlife species such as lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, hippos and elephants among others. Day 6: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a full day to explore the Serengeti National Park and join a game drive while looking for wildlife such as giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, lions, leopards, elands, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, among others.
You can also enjoy your lunch in the wilderness and later engage in another game drive while searching for wildlife like elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes among others. Your guide will take you back to the lodge later. Dinner and night at the lodge.

You will have breakfast before leaving Serengeti National Park and driving to your next wildlife-viewing destination, which is the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. With your packed lunch, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will enjoy an Ol Duvai Gorge visit for a lesson through history of humankind. Enjoy a game drive in the conservation area as you drive to your lodge for check in and an overnight stay at Eileen’s Tree Inn for Budget, Hhando Coffee Lodge for Mid-range.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Drive to Arusha
After and early breakfast, with your packed lunch head out for full day game drive in the crater. You will descend 600 meters into the crater, which is home to numerous wildlife species like the big 5 which includes lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and elephants. Other wildlife species in Ngorongoro include hyenas, wildebeests, antelopes, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs among others.
There are also different bird species which can be spotted around Ngorongoro crater like ostriches as well as flamingos common along the shores of Lake Magadi. After your game drive around the Ngorongoro crater, proceed to transfer to Arusha.
