Detailed 9 Days Tanzania Cultural & Wildlife Safari: Serengeti, Eyasi & Ngorongoro
Day 1: Arrival
Upon your arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, our driver will meet you at the arrivals section and, after a short welcome and brief, drive to Arusha. Once at the hotel, check in and relax. Dinner and an overnight stay at Zawadi House Lodge.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park, Game Drive
After your breakfast at the hotel in Arusha, meet your driver guide and, with your packed lunch, drive to Tarangire National Park, the home of large elephant herds and baobab trees. Embark on an amazing game drive to see the different wildlife in Tarangire National Park. Later, drive to your lodge, check in, and rest. Dinner and an overnight stay at Heritage Manyara Safari Lodge

Day 3: Lake Manyara Game Drive and Canopy Walk
Wake up to a relaxed breakfast at the lodge, and enjoy the scenic views from the deck. After breakfast, embark on a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park to see the tree-climbing lions, as well as numerous birds. Have a bird’s-eye view of the park while on a canopy walk.
Return to the lodge for lunch and a relaxed afternoon. Enjoy your lodge stay. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 4: Drive to Serengeti National Park, Game Drive
After breakfast, drive to Central Serengeti National Park, through the Ngorongoro and scenic views. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park, looking out for the numerous animals, including all the Big Five animals and the migration, if lucky and in season. Drive to your camp later, check in, and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Central Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp.

Day 5-6: Game Drives in Central Serengeti
Spend these 2 days exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, looking for the animals in the park and predator action. The Seronera area is a hub for animals, and with oblivious herbivores having a sip or drink on the Seronera River, the predators lurk in the grasslands ready to pounce on them. Lunch is had over a picnic. Early morning and afternoon game drives allow you an opportunity to witness animal behaviors as they are out grazing and hunting. Chase the sunsets as you drive back to your accommodation in Serengeti.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Highlands, Ol Duvai Gorge, and Crater Rim Walk
After a relaxed breakfast today, check out with your packed lunch and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy an Ol Duvai Gorge and Crater rim walk experiences, unique activities from the regular game drives. Come up close with nature on guided walking safaris in Ngorongoro, spotting animals like giraffes, zebras, and more. Drive to your lodge, check in, and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Hhando Coffee Lodge.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Drive to Lake Eyasi
After an early breakfast, descend the Ngorongoro Crater with your packed lunch box. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of Africa’s remarkable wildlife destinations, hosting all the big five animals and well over 25,000 wild animals. Chances of seeing rhinos are higher and better in Ngorongoro Crater than elsewhere in northern Tanzania. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside a hippo pool.
Thereafter, proceed to drive to Lake Eyasi area, with sweeping scenic views. Check in at the lodge, relax as you wait for dinner, and stay overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.

Day 8: Hadzabe and Datoga Tribe Encounters
Lake Eyasi is culturally rich, just near the Rift Valley. Wake up and head out to hunt with the remaining hunter-gatherers, the Hadzabe. Learn and experience their lifestyle say hunting techniques. Also, meet the Datoga tribe, which is known for its blacksmith craftsmanship. Enjoy a local lunch, and a roast of your killing. Return to the lodge later for dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 9: Departure
