Detailed itinerary of 9 Days Tanzania Camping Safari

Day 1: Arusha National Park

You will be picked from your hotel in Arusha or at Kilimanjaro International Airport by our representative and drive to Arusha National Park which is situated in a short drive from Arusha City, when you arrive in the park. You will go for a guided walk through the park along an armed ranger and a guide, you will get a closer encounter with several animals including impalas, cheetahs, baboons, warthogs, giraffes, buffaloes and lions among others.

You will have lunch set at one of the picnic site and with en-route game drive, you will exit the park and drive to Mto Wa Mbu where you shall spend the night at a campsite (dinner will be prepared and served by the chef).

Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner

Day 2: Mto Wa Mbu to Lake Natron

Have breakfast at the campsite and transfer to Lake Natron – an alkaline lake popular for thousands of lesser pink flamingoes on the shores of the lake, the lake is situated next to the Oldoinyo Mountain creating a magical view.

You will have picnic lunch and when you arrive at the lake, you will head to the shores of the lake where you will be amazed by the he numbers of pink lesser flamingoes creating a flurry pink cloud on the shores of the lake and perfect scenery for pictures.

After enjoying the sunset, you will head to the campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Natron to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park – the most popular wildlife destination in Tanzania and Africa as well, the park is known for the abundant wildlife including the Big Five (lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos) and the annual wildebeest migration which consists of over 2 million wildebeests accompanied by thousands of zebras and gazelles.

When you arrive in the park, you will go for a game drive in the endless plains of Serengeti’s Seronera area where you enjoy watching any animals including large herds of wildebeests, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, elands, hartebeests, African wild dogs, cheetahs among others.

You will enjoy picnic lunch and continue exploring the park and enjoy more scenic views of the landscapes, after the sunset you will head to the campsite in Seronera area for dinner and overnight stay. Dinner will be served around a campsite.
