This 5 days Luxury Lake Manyara and Serengeti Safari is a unique Tanzania Safari that takes you to Tanzania’s top Safari destinations; Lake Manyara & Serengeti National Park, allowing for excellent game viewing and some exciting activities such as Hot Air Balloon Safari, all in the midst of beautiful landscapes with accommodation in exceptional luxury lodges at prime spots.
Note that prices vary depending on the month or season of travel, with July to October being the peak season, while April to mid-June is the low season.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
Your Driver-Guide reports to your hotel for the start of the safari, with an 8:00 a.m. departure for Lake Manyara National Park (Drive time: 2.5 hours). You will be in your own private and exclusive 4×4 Landcruiser Safari vehicle. Arrive at your lodge in Lake Manyara for a leisurely lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3.30 pm, allowing spotting of the amazing wildlife in the reserve, ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Your Driver-Guide will try his best to show you not just the ”Big Five animals but the ”Big Nine” as well. Return to your lodge by 6.30 pm.

Day 2: Full-day game drive in Lake Manyara
You will be taken on two game drives today, one in the morning from 6.15 am to 9 am, before breakfast, and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best times to spot animals at their most active. As your safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible, convenient if travelling with children or if on a honeymoon, when you perhaps want to lie in longer on some of the days. You may also choose to have a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park and Game Drive
After a relaxed breakfast, you will transfer to Serengeti National Park, arriving at your lodge in the early afternoon for check-in and lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3.30 pm, allowing you to explore the park. You then return to your lodge by 5 pm in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti
You may choose to have a morning and afternoon game drive or even head out to the park for a long day game excursion with a packed picnic lunch.
Optional activities such as the Maasai Village Visit and Nature Walk below, are at an additional cost.
During the day, you may also choose to be taken to a traditional Maasai tribe village on the outskirts of the reserve. The village visit, which lasts an hour, will give you a glimpse into the fascinating way of life of the Maasai, a nomadic warrior tribe of Tanzania. Enjoy your afternoon safari game drive in the reserve, during which you hopefully get to spot any of your favourite animals which you may have missed seeing so far during the trip. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Arusha
At the crack of dawn, you embark on your concluding game drive in Serengeti, followed by a leisurely breakfast. Check out by 10 am for a return road transfer to Arusha. ( Optional one-way flight back to Arusha, available at additional cost). Arrive Arusha by late afternoon for drop off at your hotel or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
