1 Day Akagera National Park
On this 1 day Rwanda Tour, you will first have breakfast, then set off to the park at around 5 am. The journey takes 2 hours away from Kigali.
Akagera National Park is perfect for game drive exploration toward the northern part of the park, where you will have high chances of viewing vast of game such as Elephants, Zebra, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Impalas, Waterbucks, Rhinos, the elusive leopard and lions were recently introduced.
You will arrive at the park from the southern gate to the park for a short briefing about the park. Most of your day will spent in the northern sector of the park which hosts a wide number of wildlife because of the landscape and vegetation. Game drive experience here can end in about 6 hours or more, depending on the animal sightings.
The tour guide will advise you about the lunch package – where to purchase lunch or carry packed lunch right from the hotel. After, having a fabulous game drive in the park –you will exit via the northern gate late evening.
