Detailed Itinerary of 7 Days Bwindi Gorillas and Ndutu Migration Safari
Day 1: Kigali City Tour, Transfer to Bwindi
On this 1st day of the 7 Days Bwindi Gorillas and Ndutu Migration Safari, you will be picked up from Kigali by our Uganda safari guide who will meet you and brief you about your gorilla trip. Embark on a city tour-visiting sites like the Kigali Genocide memorial. Thereafter, you will start your drive to Cyanika border to cross to Uganda. You will transfer to Bwindi enjoying the beautiful views of the highlands and hills of Kigali and southwestern Uganda. Lunch will be enjoyed en-route. Check in at the lodge; relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast, you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas and conversant with different gorilla trekking trails. Trekking of mountain gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable national park takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food.
During your Uganda gorilla trekking tour, you will be able to view other primate species, different bird species, plants among others. Once the mountain gorillas are found, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat, which gives you an opportunity to observe their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, playing, breastfeeding, grooming young ones, take photos and record videos. After the one hour encounter with the gentle giants, you will drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali, Flight to Tanzania (Own Booking)
After breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed to Kigali for your flight to JRO. Your guide in Arusha will welcome you, brief you about your safari and drive you to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Burka Coffee Lodge for Budget, Zawadi House Lodge for Mid-range, Gran Melia Arusha for Luxury.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Transfer to Southern Serengeti
Your Tanzania safari guide will meet you at the hotel in Arusha and you will start your safari to the Ngorongoro conservation area where you will enjoy wildlife viewing experiences. You will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater where you will search for wildlife species like lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, rhinos, hyenas, jackals, hippos, zebras, herds of wildebeests.
You will also see attractions such as Lake Magadi where you will see a variety of birds such as flamingos as well as other wildlife species grazing in the nearby plains.
Proceed to transfer to Southern Serengeti Plains known as Ndutu area, looking out for wild game en-route. Check in at the camp, relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Sero Tented Camp for Budget, Ndutu Ngorongoro by Tanzania Bush Camp for Mid-range, Ndutu Safari Lodge for Lower-Luxury.

Day 5&6: Ndutu Wildebeest Calving Experience
You shall enjoy breakfast at the camp and get to explore the wildebeest covered southern plains of Serengeti National Park in the Ndutu Area. Watch the wildebeest migration and chance to witness the calves being born, as well as predators lurking around! Lunch shall be enjoyed in the wilderness. Have early morning game drive and photography sessions as per preference. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 7: Departure
After a leisurely breakfast, check out and proceed on a transfer back to Arusha through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area yet again, punctuated with a lunch stop en-route.
