The 8 Days Gorilla Trekking and Tanzania Safari Tour takes you to witness two of Africa’s safari spectacles, the Gorilla trekking in Uganda and Big 5 animals viewing in Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire.

Your tour will start in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, from where you will transfer to Arusha in Tanzania, a country that offers the perfect opportunities to view wildlife, including big five mammals and predators in their natural habitat in Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and Serengeti national parks.
Since the borders between Uganda and Rwanda are open now, we recommend you arrive in East Africa from Kigali International Airport in Rwanda. The Road drive time from Kigali to the Gorillas in Bwindi, Uganda, is approximately 4 Hours compared to the 10 Hours Road Drive from Entebbe/Kampala, Uganda, to Bwindi.
Note that you can travel between the two countries using a single visa called the East African Tourist Visa and this Visa can be got from the first country of arrival at a cost of 100USD Per person.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On arrival at Kigali International Airport or from your hotel in Kigali, you will be met by your driver who will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the home of gorillas in Uganda via the Katuna Border point. You will arrive at your lodge in time for check-in, lunch, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking and Pigmies Community experience
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing and later start your gorilla trek experience at around 8:30 am. Spending 1 hour with mountain gorillas will be a great experience for everyone. After spending a good time with the gorillas, you will transfer back to the Lodge for a hot lunch and to freshen up. In the evening, you may choose to relax in your Room or visit the local community of the pigmies and later have a massage, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3: Road Transfer to Kigali International Airport and Flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport
After breakfast, you will be transferred by road to Kigali City or Kigali International airport depending on the schedule of your flight, from where you will catch your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport in the late afternoon, you will be transferred to your Hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and visit the Crater
After breakfast, you will transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will later explore Ngorongoro Crater with a ranger. This area is compared to the Garden of Eden on Earth. The big numbers of wildlife can be spotted in a day, including all the big five, the elephant, black rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetahs, and lots of hyenas, hippos, zebra, and wildebeest, being the most abundant. You will take a break for lunch. In the afternoon, you will continue game viewing in the south corner of the park, where you visit Lake Magadi, where you can see flamingos, hippos, and other water birds. Return for dinner and overnight

Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park and afternoon game drive
After breakfast, leave the Ngorongoro Area, driving to Serengeti National Park, home to 3 million animals, which is larger than any savannah protected area on earth. You will drive all the way to the Central Area of Serengeti, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive as you continue to check in to your lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Full day Serengeti Plains
Without question, one of the highlights of your safari. After a rich breakfast, you will start your adventure a little earlier than usual. During a full-day game drive, you will experience the Serengeti in its full glory today! Be ready to see animals like lions, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and Gazelles’, among others. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a transfer from Serengeti to Tarangire National Park. This park has the largest concentration of 3000 elephants in Tanzania. Arrive and check in for lunch. The game drive in Tarangire will be done in the afternoon till evening. Dinner and overnight

Day 8: Departure at Kilimanjaro airport
