Detailed itinerary of 8 Days Tanzania Holiday – Wildebeest Migration Safari
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet your Engabi safari guide, he will take you through what to expect on the safari and take you to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure while enjoying the African atmosphere.
Your personal and experience Engabi Safaris guide knows more about Tanzania’s culture, the beautiful national park and various sights of the country. During the safari, feel free to ask your guide questions and he will gladly answer them.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Depart after breakfast to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive, though the park is not as famous as other national parks in Tanzania’s Northern safari circuit, it has an authentic safari atmosphere with one of the most spectacular landscapes in Tanzania. The park has a hilly landscape with Baobab trees scattered against the clear blue sky, during the game drive you will encounter and witness the world’s largest concentration of elephant. You will encounter up to 300 elephants as they congregate around the banks of Tarangire River drinking water or enjoying a mud bath. Other animals you should expect to see include lions, leopards, cheetahs, tree climbing pythons, and several bird species.
You enjoy lunch at the picnic site overlooking the Trangire River then continue with exploring the park, in the evening you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 – 5: Serengeti National Park
You will spend these 3 days of the safari in Serengeti National Park – Tanzania’s most famous national park with stunning landscape which is seen in some of the most impressive nature documentaries. The annual wildebeest migration with more than a million wildebeests accompanied by ten thousands of Zebras is the highlight of Serengeti National Park. it is a true spectacle and impressive to watch millions of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles move through the endless plains of Serengeti with a thunderous effect.
Apart from watching the migration, you will also get to see other animals like lions, cheetahs, leopard and many more. You will also be impressed by the natural beauty of Serengeti – Africa’s most famous part.
There is an option hot air balloon safari providing you with an aerial view of the endless plains of Serengeti national park and the wildebeest migration.

Day 6 – 7: Ngorongoro Crater
After enjoying breakfast, you will depart from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will have a stopover at the Ngorongoro View Point where you will enjoy striking views of the Ngorongoro Crater from above, then descend down the crater for a game drive.
Ngorongoro crater is the world’s largest intact caldera, the crater is home to the highest concentration of wildlife including elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, hippos, the rare black rhinos among others. Serengeti National Park is one of the best places in the world to spot all of the Big Five, you will also enjoy views from the crater rim over the crater floor which are very incredible, Because of its natural beauty, the Ngorongoro crater is chosen as one of the Africa’s Seven Nature wonders. Return to the lodge for and overnight stay.
