4 days Mara River crossing Safari and Wildebeest Migration tour : Fly into the northern Serengeti or arrive by road to witness the great Migration of herds on the banks of the Mara River. The Great Migration is easily spotted in the Northern region of Serengeti in the Lobo area in the Months of July-October as they move North towards Masai Mara Game reserve before crossing the Crocodile infested Mara River.

Detailed Itinerary of 4 Days Mara river migration crossing   and Summer in Mara animal crossing

Day 1: Transfer to Northern Serengeti

After breakfast or on arrival, you will catch your scheduled flight from Arusha Airport to Kogatende airstrip and on arrival you will be met by our representative to transfer to your camp.

After Checking and enjoying your lunch you will head out for an afternoon game drive retiring late in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in the Serengeti

After breakfast you will head out for a full day (Morning and afternoon) Game drive in the Serengeti National Park, with morning and afternoon shared game drives. Watch as the herds cross the Mara River with crocodiles waiting for some of them for food. Retire in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Explore the Serengeti

Today you will spend the whole day in Serengeti National Park with the morning and afternoon game drives. Take time to explore the plains for lions, cheetahs and leopards as you wait for the herds to cross. Finally enjoy the beauty of Kuria Hills and the migration before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Morning Game drive and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast and checking out, you will enjoy your last game drive en-route to Kogatende airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Arusha and upon arrival in Arusha you will be transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight back home.
