The 3 days Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi-Uganda takes you to Bwindi impenetrable forest for an incredible tour of the Mountain Gorillas. On this tour you will experience remarkable Uganda gorilla trekking adventures as you explore diverse landscapes and encounter majestic gorillas up close.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport or Entebbe International Airport and transfer by road to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today on arrival in Kigali or Entebbe or from your hotel your dedicated driver/guide will pick you up and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in South Western Uganda.
If you are picked from Kigali, you will embark on a 4 Hours road drive via the Katuna border point arriving at your booked lodge in time for check in lunch and later dinner and overnight (Note that to move between the two countries of Uganda and Rwanda you will need to acquire an East African Tourist Visa at a cost of 100USD)
If you decide to start the tour from Entebbe/Kampala, you will embark on a 10 Hours road drive with stops at the Equator for photography, Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch and any other stop that your driver will deem necessary like using a washroom or an opportunity to take a photo. You will arrive at your lodge in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking and Pigmies Community Cultural Experience
Today you will wake up very early and enjoy your breakfast after which you will be transferred to the park headquarters with packed lunch for briefing on the dos and don’ts of Gorilla trekking in Bwindi. You will then enter the jungle to meet the gorilla family that you will watch for one hour and during this time the rangers will tell you a lot about the group and thereafter you will head back to the park headquarters where you will meet your driver and transfer back to the lodge for Hot Lunch. Later in the evening you will visit the Batwa Community for a Cultural Experience and thereafter Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali or Entebbe/Kampala
Depending on your flight schedule and where you want to end your trip between Kigali and Entebbe, today after breakfast you will transfer to Kigali or Entebbe/Kampala with a hot lunch en-route. The journey to Kigali takes 4 Hours via Katuna border while the journey to Entebbe/Kampala takes approximately 10 hours with stops en-route and you will reach in time to catch your late evening flight back home marking the end of the trip.
