Day 1: Arrival Kilimanjaro – Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will meet your Focus East Africa Tours Guide, after a short briefing about the safari. He will take you to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure enjoying the African atmosphere. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Arusha National Park
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel and drive you to Arusha National Park – a charming park with a rich diversity of landscapes and wildlife, lakes, waterfalls, swamps, volcanoes, mountains and tropical rainforest.
During the game drive in the park, you will encounter many animals including giraffes, cape buffalo, zebras, warthog, elephants, bushbuck, black and white colobus monkeys and many birds such as silvery-cheeked hornbill and thousands of pink – hued flamingoes.
Arusha National Park is the only park in the northern Tanzania where you can easily spot the black and white colobus monkey. You will have picnic lunch and continue with exploring the park, in the evening you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will meet your driver – guide and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park – one of the smaller but most scenic park in Tanzania, during the game drive in the park you will see elephants, huge troops of baboons, tree climbing lions, warthogs, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras and flamingoes. At the Shallow Hippo Pool you will have excellent opportunities for hippo sightings and also enjoy the spectacular views of the Rift Valley Escarpment.
You will have lunch at one of the picnic sites in the park and continue with the game drive, in the evening you will head to your lodge for check in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 – 6: Serengeti National Park

It is truly a spectacle and impressive to watch millions of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles as they thunder across the endless plains of the Serengeti.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will bid farewell to Serengeti national park and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, on the route you will be able to see lot of wildlife. After arriving at the crater rim, you will descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor.
Enjoy amazing views of the crater and its ecosystem, the crater is home to the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos and even the rare black rhino. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the best places to spot all of the Big Five and was recognized as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.

Day 8: Tarangire National Park
Depart for Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive, this beautiful park is one of the less known park in Tanzania offering an authentic safri atmosphere.
