4 Days Serengeti Fly In, Fly Out Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Serengeti and Afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha or upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Arusha Airport for your flight to Serengeti national park landing at one of the seven airstrips.
From Arusha to Serengeti, it is a flight of 1: 30 minutes to 2 hours and on arrival you will be picked by our guide with a 4X4 safari Vehicle with a pop – up roof and head to your lodge for lunch and a bit of relaxation. In the afternoon you will head to the park’s endless plains for a game drive spotting various animal such as buffaloes, lions, leopards, Masai giraffes, elephants, gazelles, wildebeests and many more among others. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full-day safari game drive Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you will head to the park for a full day gam drive with your packed lunch. During the game drives, you will explore most of the regions of Serengeti National Park and spot a variety a number of wildlife including lions, zebras, cheetahs, hyenas, African wild dogs, zebras, gazelles, leopards, cheetahs among others. If you visit Serengeti during the Months of May, June, July, August, September through to October, you will witness the Great Migration with big herds of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles filling the plains of Serengeti.
You will have a break to enjoy your picnic lunch set at one of the picnic sites in the plains of the park and continue exploring. Later in the evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Walking Safari and Night Game Drive
Today you will have a leisure breakfast and head to the park for a walking safari and while on this unique Serengeti Safari experience, you will have the opportunity to explore territories of the park which you cannot reach by a vehicle and follow animals on foot accompanied by your own armed ranger. The walking safari takes approximately 2 hours and it will end with a sundowner experience set at an area overlooking the Serengeti plains.
Later in the day you will return to the lodge to freshen up and have a snack and thereafter you will go for a night game drive with a spot light which will help you to spot nocturnal animals including bushbabies, civets, rare Aardvark, Porcupines and genet cats among others. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 4: Flight to Arusha Airport
Today after breakfast, you will transfer to any of the 7 Airstrips depending on your location to catch your flight to Arusha Airport. You will have a game drive en-route where you will see more animals that you might have missed during the previous game drives. On arrival in Arusha you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport or to your hotel in Arusha marking the end of the safari.
