On this safari, you will discover the fascinating wildlife in Tanzania as you visit Serengeti National Park – Africa’s most park with the largest concertation of game on the continent and Great Migration, Ngorongoro Crater home to the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa and the world’s largest intact caldera declared one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders and Tarangire National Park home to the world’s largest concentration of elephants with over 300 elephants seen around the Tarangire River drinking water and bathing in the muddy water.

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by Focus East Africa Tours who will give you a short briefing about the safari and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After a delicious breakfast, you will checkout of the hotel, your guide will pick you up early in the morning and head to Tarangire national park for a full day game drive with picnic lunch.
Tarangire National Park offer authentic African safari experiences, the park is home to the world’s largest concentration of elephants with each herd totaling up to 300 elephants easily seen in the savannah grasslands dotted with the iconic acacia trees and along the banks of Tarangire River.
Besides large herds of elephnats, you will see other animals including buffaloes, lions, zebras, antelopes, cheetahs, monkeys, gazelles and many birds among others. in the evening you will head to your lodge for check-in and overnight stay.

Day 3 – 4: Serengeti National Park
You will spend the two days of the safari in Serengeti National Park one of the most famous African national parks with stunning landscape which is often seen as a backdrop in some of the world’s best nature documentaries.
The endless plains of Serengeti national park are home to the annual Great Wildebeest Migration with more than two million wildebeests and ten thousands of gazelles and elands filling the plains while on their annual journey in search for water and green pastures.
Whole on the game drives, look out for large herds filling the endless plains, prides of lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, African wild dogs, cape buffaloes, elephants among others. You will be blown away by the natural beauty of Serengeti national park and its plains.
You can also do a hot air balloon safari conquering the endless plains of Serengeti and enjoying aerial views of the animals and the large columns of the migrating herds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti, you will checkout and head to the famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area the world’s largest intact caldera and Tanzania hotspot teeming with fantastic wildlife. When you arrive at the crater rim, you enjoy the striking views of the crater from the Crater View Point, then descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor.
As you drive through the crater floor, you will spot all of the Africa’s Big five including lion, cape buffaloes, elephants and leopards, you will also spot giraffes, zebras, gazelles among others. Also, you will visit Lake Magadi where you will spot pink flamingoes and other water birds such as cormorants and herons among others.
In the evening, you will visit the traditional Masai Village for a fascinating encounter with the Masai People, get a deeper insight about their traditions and customs, taste some of their local dishes and be entertained by local dances and drama. Return to the lodge for check in, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 – 10: Zanzibar
Spend the last days of the trip that is from day 6 to day 10 relaxing on the tropical Zanzibar island, Zanzibar Island is a paradise with miles and miles of white sandy beaches dotted with palm trees surrounded by clear crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean.
You will spend these days exploring the amazing coral reefs, swimming with thousands of colorful tropical marine creatures including dolphins, grab a surf board and hot the waves among others.
On the last day, you will be picked from the beach resort after breakfast. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be dropped at Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international flight back home.
